Amanda Poormohamadi named the new LH Rather Junior High Assistant Principal!

Bonham ISD is proud and honored to announce Amanda Poormohamadi as the new Assistant Principal for LH Rather Junior High. 

Amanda graduated in 2001 from Bonham High School. She attended Texas A&M- Commerce where she received her Bachelors in Kinesiology. From there she attended UT- Arlington and received her Masters in Curriculum Instruction. 

Since working in the education field she has 11 years experience of working at the Junior High level in various roles that include Educator, Coach, and Instructional Coach. 

Amanda has been married for 15 years to Josh Poormohammadi and together they adopted their 2 year old daughter Brylynn.

When she is not working, her hobbies consist of spending time with her family and friends. Amanda is excited to continue her journey co-leading in BISD while growing students to their fullest potential.
