I currently serve as the Instructional Aide responsible for the services and programs in our Library and Learning Lab. Since September of 2017 I’ve had the honor of serving the students, faculty and staff at L. H. Rather Junior High School. I am responsible for library management, supervising student library aides, and student support activities. What an awesome school family to work with!
From April to August of 2017 I served the district as a substitute teacher. I enjoyed performing the daily responsibilities on behalf of permanent elementary and secondary teachers. The Bonham Independent School District welcomed me to their family and I enjoyed every day serving in this capacity.
I am a life-long learner who enjoys problem solving and is committed to making responsible decisions.
I am a native north Texas and the youngest of five children. I enjoy helping my family and mentoring the students I work with. I believe wherever we are in life, we are to serve those who need us.
Without a doubt, the most rewarding part of my job is training, mentoring, leading and working alongside seven 8th grade student library aides. It is professionally rewarding to watch these students learn about library management and grow their understanding of customer service, leadership and responsibility. I have the best job in the world!
In my spare time I enjoy photography, watching college football (Geaux Tigers!), watching movies, reading, and serving others less fortunate.
